AREAS OF USE
Used in foundation waterproofing.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The lean concrete poured with sufficient thickness and strength should have a smooth surface. There should be no loose aggregate or sharp protrusions on the surface. The surface should be swept clean before application.
APPLICATION
After the lean concrete poured on the foundation base with sufficient thickness and strength has set, the overlaps (joints) of Bituproof Y should be adhered by heating with a torch. Long edge overlaps should be 10 cm, and 1-meter short edge overlaps should be at least 15 cm. To prevent long edge overlaps from aligning, they should be applied with a 30 cm offset.

Bituproof Y 4.5 is available in rolls 1 m wide and 8 m long.
