İzobran Bitumen Primer

İzobran Bitumen Primer emulsion is a ready-to-use primer material obtained by mixing water and bitumen using special methods.

ADVANTAGEOUS FEATURES

It is applied cold, therefore easy to use.

It does not contain flammable or toxic substances. Therefore, it can be safely used in open and closed spaces.

After the water in its composition evaporates, it forms a layer on the surface that does not dissolve in water again and is waterproof.

It adheres easily to all types of surfaces.

It is an economical material.

AREAS OF USE

It is used as a primer under bituminous waterproofing membranes and bitumen-based liquid waterproofing products.

SURFACE PREPARATION

After mixing with water at a maximum rate of 20%, it is applied to the surface with a brush, roller, or spray gun.

The surface to be applied should be clean and dry, free from dust, oil, construction debris, and dirt. Application should not be made in rainy weather or on wet surfaces. It dries in approximately 4 – 24 hours depending on weather conditions.

APPLICATION

İzobran Bitumen Primer emulsions eliminate the adhesion-inhibiting effects of substances such as dust or soil on the surface and provide us with a clean surface.

İzobran Bitumen Primer emulsions are used as a primer before the application of İzobran Bituminous membrane.

Thanks to its superior adhesion property, it ensures that the bituminous membranes applied on top adhere more firmly and without gaps to the concrete surface.

POINTS TO CONSIDER

Application should never be made in rainy weather and on wet surfaces. In cases where the material needs to be thinned, you can mix it with water to achieve the desired consistency.
