AREAS OF USE

It is used under the coating in wet areas such as water channels and hidden streams, retaining and curtain walls, foundation basements, galleries and foundation piles, curtain walls, foundation basements, foundations, bridges, kitchens, balconies, terraces, bathrooms, WCs, swimming and ornamental pools.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface to be applied is cleaned of loose particles, oil, and other chemicals, and surface irregularities are repaired with repair mortar. For a healthy application, it is recommended to use Izobran Bitumen Emulsion as a primer on the surface to be applied.

All expansion and movement joints must first be filled with an elastomeric joint filler.

APPLICATION

İzobran Liquid Membrane is homogenized with a suitable mixer. It is applied to the pre-prepared surface with a roller, brush or low-pressure sprayers.

Although the drying time is approximately 4 hours, one day should be waited between coats in cases where several coats will be applied.

In cases where it is desired to withstand higher pressures, excellent results are obtained by reinforcing it with carriers such as fiberglass cloth, felt, mesh, and insulation cloth. At least two coats should be applied. Cellulosic thinner or gasoline can be used in cases where thinning is required depending on environmental conditions.

POINTS TO CONSIDER

Although İzobran Standard Liquid Membrane provides strong adhesion to the surface it is applied to after the solvent in its structure evaporates, effective results cannot be obtained in negative area applications. Therefore, it should only be applied to the side of the place to be applied that comes into contact with water. Changes such as early or late drying may be observed in different environments and at different application thicknesses. Gas masks should be used in closed areas and work should be done by ventilating.
